Whale season

Humpback whales can be observed in two well-defined seasons from December to March, the whales that visit us from the northern hemisphere, while those from the southern hemisphere begin to be seen in the first weeks of July until the end of October.

The most commonly observed whales are humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae). These are known for their long migrations on the north side and the south side.

Dolphins are seen throughout the year. The most commonly seen bottlenose dolphins on the Pacific coast. The chances of watching whales and dolphins are quite high, but not guaranteed every day because we are not sure of the exact location where they are.
