Whale season
Humpback whales can be spotted during two distinct seasons: from December to March, visitors from the northern hemisphere, and from the southern hemisphere, they are typically seen from early July until the end of October.
The humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) is the species most frequently sighted, renowned for their extensive migrations in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
Dolphins, particularly the common bottlenose dolphins, are visible all year round along the Pacific coast. While the likelihood of encountering whales and dolphins is quite high, sightings are not guaranteed daily due to the unpredictability of their precise locations.
