Description
The Tour to visit the Isla del Caño Biological Reserve begins with the arrival of our clients at the office where they will be received by our qualified personnel, before setting sail on the adventure our guide will give them a safety talk, this is a Tour of full day leaving at 07:00 am and returning around 3:30 pm approximately, leaving Uvita towards Isla del Caño with 1 hour and a half of boat travel, during the tour, there is a great opportunity to observe whales depending on the season, dolphins, sea turtles and different variety of birds.
Upon arrival at Caño Island, two snorkeling sessions will be held in different sectors that are chosen by our captain and guides depending on the conditions of the day, where they will last 1 hour and a half each or more, depending on the visibility and the capacity of the clients.
At the end of the first snorkel, a break will be taken where they will be offered a sandwich, soft drinks, water, or fruit, the second snorkel is resumed, in the end, they proceed to visit Violines Island, and upon returning to the boat a lunch will be offered, if the weather conditions allow it and if not we will return to Punta Uvita.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Lunch will consist of a typical lunch or some rice with chicken or pork, tortillas, fruits, and natural and soft drinks, all served onboard the boat since eating on the beach is not allowed. There will be access to a sanitary service on the Island during beach time. Due to strict policies regarding the number of daily visitors to the island, or ships that are allowed to anchor with divers, it is recommended to make reservations as far in advance as possible.
